Lisl gained her Diplomas/Associates Degrees at Harrow College, in 2000 (Beauty Therapist) and at NLSSM, in 2007 (Sports Remedial Massage Therapy, Credit). Lisl is affiliated with the Sports Massage Association, U.K., and is licensed in the state of Virginia. Throughout her career as a Soft Tissue Therapist and Personal Trainer, she has been influenced by world class practitioners ranging from Physio's in professional rugby, Advanced Rolfers, and S&C coaches. Lisl holds certifications from UKSCA, PRI, FRC, IKFF and others, and is known for her passion in delivering Interactive Soft Tissue Workshops within the tactical, private physiotherapy and corporate settings.
With over 25 years experience, Lisl's holistic approach of treating the 'whole person', assessing movement and combining sports remedial massage and active soft tissue release techniques, sets her apart.
Lisl's career as a Soft Tissue Therapist includes: serving U.S. Air Force fighter pilots (standing up the Human Performance program at 48FW), medical team staff in professional sport (London Wasps RFU, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games), Cirque du Soleil artists (Algeria, Kooza and Quidam tours), Bupa and SIX physio London clinics, as well as private staff for Queen Rania of Jordan.
In 2009 she established her own clinics in SW London, where her hybrid of Personal Training and Soft Tissue Therapy began. Lisl is passionate about clients feeling their best and believes *how you move* and how you recover, is fundamental.
Since 2015, Lisl and Steve have worked/lived in Washington D.C., Belgium and New York, now settling in Cambridge with their family.
As a head strength & conditioning coach, Steve has worked with US and NATO Special Operations Forces. While contracted through EXOS, he has been able to serve units at Hurlburt Airfield in Florida, Royal Airforce Bases Lakenheath and Mildenhall in the UK, Fort Belvoir in N. Virginia, and NATO Special Operations Headquarters in Belgium.
Upon attaining his Master's Degree in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo, Steve gained extensive knowledge working with the strength & conditioning staffs at the Buffalo Bills, Georgia Tech, and the University of Alabama. While with the University of Alabama from 2012-2013, the football and softball teams won national championships.
Steve holds certifications through the NSCA: Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Functional Movement Systems: Level 2, Precision Nutrition: Level 1, BIOFORCE: Conditioning Coach, and the Society for NeuroSports: CSNS.
Through all these experiences, Steve has learned from some of the top professionals in their respective fields: Strength & Conditioning, Mental Performance, Nutrition, and Physical Therapy which has allowed him to create a hybrid system that has shown success and can be implemented in any setting.
Lisl's ethos is one that treats the whole person: not just symptoms. Her treatments "read the client's body"; delivering the depth and flow of a sports massage, alongside effective soft tissue release and myofascial bodywork. Her intent is that each session will yield noticeable improvement for the client, and they leave feeling revived, with tools for optimising their recovery in-between sessions.
Lisl believes that pain (especially persistent pain) is often a 'request for change'. Oftentimes, our postural patterns have been present for many months (or years!), and we are simply doing too much of the same thing (constantly sitting, always being in an unrecovered state, using screens/phones for many hours, day after day, in forward head posture etc.). This means it can take more than a few minutes or just one massage, to re-educate your tissues back into balance. Real, effective change is a process that happens with consistency, over time. How we move, how we train, and how we recover has an impact.
Soft tissue therapy can identify and accelerate improvement for a number of ailments, be it: strains/sprains, postural tension, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, RSI, plantar fasciitis, lower back pain, sciatica and more. Or, if you're simply seeking recovery and relaxation: we'll get you there!

"Lisl is absolutely unparalleled in her massage therapy skills. Her knowledge of the human body and how all your tissues interact have enabled her to help me beyond what I thought was possible after years of back and lower leg pain. She was the first person to help me understand that these problems were related and help me get to a point of zero pain most of the time, and, what to do if I do have pain, in order to get back to zero. I had seen several Doctors, Physical Therapists and Massage Therapists before I was lucky enough to meet Lisl. As I prepare to retire from the U.S. Air Force, I fear I will find it hard to replicate her work; she is one of a kind."
"I had the pleasure of working with Lisl at London Wasps, throughout her time, she always worked to the highest standards of clinical care and players regularly commented on her exceptional skill as a soft tissue therapist. She was an integral member of the medical team at London Wasps and was sorely missed when she took the decision to develop her private practice. In particular Lisl excelled during an intensive pre-season training camp coping with a large volume of squad members highlighting her ability to adapt her clinical management in the sporting environment."
"I can wholeheartedly recommend Steve as a strength and conditioning coach. Coach Steve was my Special Operations unit Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the two years I was at the unit. I have first-hand knowledge of Coach Steve's ability, knowledge and motivation over that time. He is a professional in all respects. While I participated in the group sessions, Steve was forward-leaning in providing one-on-one sessions for others who preferred individual sessions; provided practical nutritional advice; and conducted Olympic weightlifting technique training. Coach prepared monthly phases consisting of major complex lifts, plus enough diversity to train all the accessory muscles. On a personal level, I achieved one rep max records in all the major lifts, as well as a new low for body fat percentage, going from 20% to 10.4%. I can personally attest that his exceptional coaching ability, his advanced knowledge in weight training and nutrition, and 'always on' motivation will enable anyone to achieve their personal goals in the gym. I am continuing his program even now as I've moved on to my next unit. Thanks Steve!"
"My 20-year quest to find a world-class massage therapist in the UK ended when I discovered Lisl Croft. Her work alleviates pain and enhances well-being... not just for a few hours but for many days after a massage. Lisl brings the 'therapy' part to massage therapy: she is neither a beauty lightweight nor will she leave you bruised and sore, as can happen with some over-zealous 'sports' therapists. She has passion and curiosity for her work, regularly doing advanced training and keeping her techniques leading edge. In addition to her technical excellence, Lisl is a caring and upbeat person whom I look forward to seeing. You could pay a lot more for a massage... but you won't find a better one."
"I had been training for several triathlons and the New York City marathon when I had a calf injury in late July. I was obviously anxious that with only one month left until my 70.3 triathlon that all my training and hard work would be for naught. I luckily found Lisl who with her a great amount of knowledge and experience helped me to recover and complete all the events. I had been for massages a few times prior but this experience was completely different. Lisl was able to explain to me why my calf injury was leading to a tight hip on the other side of my body. She knows how to apply pressure when needed but also knows when to pull back. I truly believe that the frequent visits to Lisl have not only helped me to recover from my injury several months ago but also contributed greatly to the successful completion of my athletic endeavours."
“I had the distinct pleasure of working with both Steve and Lisl. Prior to meeting them, I had been lifting with improper form my entire life, which led to excruciating back pain and avoiding activities I used to love due to a fear of injury. When I found Lisl, I was living on muscle relaxers and multiple chiropractic visits a week. Lisl is an incredibly talented manual therapist, but what really set her apart was how much she cared about my health and wellbeing in all aspects of my life. After each session, Lisl sent me resources to help with not only my back pain, but also techniques to address stress and anxiety. Ultimately, I came to the realization that chiropractic wasn't fixing the root cause of my back problems. I started strength training with Steve to address my issues. Steve evaluated my movement patterns and imbalances that were contributing to my injuries, along with negative thought patterns that were holding me back from achieving my goals. Working together, he taught me how to train in a safe way that wouldn't exacerbate my injuries, but also empowered me to feel comfortable and confident in the gym again. Today, I am three years pain-free and no longer believe my athletic pursuits are behind me. With Steve's coaching style, you'll get an awesome workout and transform your body, but he'll also help you reshape your mindset and you'll be amazed how that pervades every aspect of your life. Lisl and Steve Glamcevski are amazing people who truly changed my life. I cannot recommend them enough.”
"The training changed my life and made me go from being 215 pounds and feeling terrible all the time to 165 pounds and feeling great all the time. I was on the path to being kicked out of the military for failing physical fitness tests but now I have maxed almost every event in the test because of the training."
"Lisl was recommended to me by a friend in the health and fitness industry with very high standards, and I've never looked back. Every treatment with Lisl is a bit different - she picks up on where I am holding tension and works on my body to release it so that I always come away from a treatment feeling noticeably lighter and more energetic.
My first treatment with Lisl was a few weeks after giving birth to my daughter -- I was experiencing a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck as a result of the new task of carrying and holding my newborn almost 24/7, and I was also starting to get headaches from the tension. After that first treatment I felt completely back to normal, and I was amazed at how big a difference she had made. When my mother visits from Australia, one of the first things she does is book a treatment with Lisl to relieve her stress and tension from the long haul flights. She’s helped us beyond just massage, she has supported our wellbeing.”
"I had the privilege of working with Lisl Croft-Glamcevski as the squadron commander who
relied on her expertise and as a direct recipient of her care. Her professionalism, skill, and
dedication to holistic health and recovery were exceptional.
As an aircrew member operating in the physically demanding world of high-G fighter
aviation, I depended on her treatments to correct years of accumulated stress and damage.
She didn’t just relieve pain; she provided lasting solutions. Her approach went far beyond the
massage table; she consistently offered guidance on physical improvement, injury
prevention, and recovery strategies that enhanced my ability to perform at the highest level.
Beyond her treatments, Lisl was deeply invested in the success of the Operational Human
Weapons System (OHWS) program. She worked to optimize training, care, and recovery
across the organization. Every interaction showed her passion for long-term well-being, injury
prevention, and performance enhancement.
Her genuine care and commitment to those she serves sets Lisl apart. She took the time to
understand the unique physical demands of our profession and tailored her approach to
ensure the best possible outcomes. Her work was instrumental in helping me and many others
stay mission-ready and physically resilient.
If you’re looking for someone who is an expert in her field and a dedicated advocate for
long-term health and performance, Lisl is precisely that. I can confidently say that her impact
extends well beyond the treatment room—she made a real difference in my physical
performance."
Being a full time tennis coach and a fitness fanatic my body is put through lot of stress on a daily basis. Before meeting Lisl a few years ago I used to get injuries quite often and even had to have a minor shoulder surgery. I feel very grateful to have found Lisl who is the main driving force behind my quest to have an injury free, fully mobile and functional body.
Since working with her my body feels looser, the range of movement is better and I feel like I’m improving with every session.
Lisl is an extremely skillful therapist who tailors her treatments precisely to your needs. She’s highly professional, kind, generous and passionate about her work and I’m delighted to be a regular client of hers.
“I was incredibly lucky to find Lisl several years ago through a recommendation and have been seeing her ever since both for soft tissue work and personal training. I had been suffering from chronic back pain and Lisl very quickly identified several contributing factors that had been missed by other therapists, consultants etc. I am always amazed by how different my body feels after a soft tissue session and how she works on areas that I didn't even realise needed attention. Starting personal training with Lisl has helped me to sustain changes and build and use strength I didn't think I was capable of. Her approach is incredibly personalised and really focuses on key areas I know will give me long term strength and relief from my back pain. Lisl instantly made me feel at ease and like I had known her for years whilst still maintaining the utmost level of professionalism. She is also always up to date on information and shares knowledge every time I see her. Her enthusiasm and care has made me feel motivated and I consider her a friend as well as therapist."
